Hart's Plant Nursery, Inc. recently announced that it has been awarded a Medical Marijuana Treatment Center license from the Florida Department of Health. This license enables the company to cultivate, process, manufacture, and dispense medical cannabis to Florida patients in up to 35 retail locations.
Florida’s medical cannabis market is one of the country's fastest growing markets. According to a report from the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana, the state has 210,561 Qualified patients and 2,202 Qualified Ordering Physicians. These numbers are expected to translate to by $1.7 billion by 2022 with an estimated patient population of over 500,000, according to Arcview Market Research/BDS Analytics.
